My Heart
Against my will remains,
my heart entrapped in chains.
The darkness sends its claims,
for over me it reigns.
Through the cloudy rains,
and all my throbbing pains,
my heart beat badly strains,
to push blood through my veins.
My joy pours out, my love drains,
on the floor dry their stains.
I saunter the great plains,
and travel down the lanes,
and yet all my heart contains,
spills on these domains.
my heart entrapped in chains.
The darkness sends its claims,
for over me it reigns.
Through the cloudy rains,
and all my throbbing pains,
my heart beat badly strains,
to push blood through my veins.
My joy pours out, my love drains,
on the floor dry their stains.
I saunter the great plains,
and travel down the lanes,
and yet all my heart contains,
spills on these domains.
